Stock market update: Realty shares down; DLF dips nearly 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Friday's morning session.

Shares of DLF (down 1.93 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.74 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 1.12 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 1.05 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 0.75 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 0.48 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.28 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.95 per cent down at 323.15 around 10:21 am.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 29.85 points at 12,108.10, while the BSE Sensex was down 100.63 points at 41,205.40.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, JSPL, Bank of Baroda, Zee Ent., SAIL and NTPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
