Stock market update: Realty shares advance; Indiabulls Real Estate climbs 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the positive zone in Friday's morning session.

Shares of Sobha (up 3.60 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 3.40 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 3.27 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 2.59 per cent) were the top performers in the index.

DLF (up 1.37 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 1.18 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.70 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.15 per cent) too were trading higher.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.43 per cent up at 284.70 around 10:24 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 22.55 points at 11,866.30 while the BSE Sensex was up 70.12 points at 39,599.84.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of Indiabulls RE, YES Bank, Manappuram Fin, PNB, SBI, Bank of Baroda, SAIL, Indiabulls Housing Finance and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded securities on the NSE.
