Stock market update: MTNL, Bhandari Hosiery among top gainers on BSE

New Delhi: Domestic equity index BSE Sensex was trading 193.60 points up at 38,300.47 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Bhandari Hosiery (up 20.00 per cent), MTNL (up 19.97 per cent), Caprihans India (up 19.63 per cent), Manaksia Aluminium Company (up 19.35 per cent), Blue Chip Tex (up 18.33 per cent), Tiaan Ayurvedic & Herbs (up 16.68 per cent), Kkalpana lndustries (up 16.04 per cent), G G Engineering (up 15.70 per cent), Dhanvarsha Finvest (up 13.19 per cent) and Oswal Agro Mill (up 13.14 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 45.20 points up at 11,359.20. Among the 50 components in Nifty index, 31 shares were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
