NEW DELHI: Shares of Ester Industries (down 6.88 per cent), BGR Energy Systems (down 6.61 per cent) and Shreyas Shipping & Logistics (down 5.79 per cent) plunged 6 per cent on NSE in Thursday's weak market.

Bharat Rasayan (down 5 per cent), Goa Carbons (down 5 per cent), Optiemus Infracom (down 4.99 per cent), Reliance Naval and Engineering (down 4.99 per cent), MIRC Electronic (down 4.96 per cent), Adani Green Energy (down 4.95 per cent) and Jaypee Infratech (down 4.88 per cent) declined up to 5 per cent.

Frontline indices Sensex and Nifty kicked-off Thursday's session on a negative note as a political crisis in Turkey and US-China trade war woes weighed on investor sentiment.

Moreover, an unabated fall of the Indian rupee and sustained capital outflow in the wake of a continuous rise of US dollar hit the risk appetite of investors.
