Stock market update: Electrosteel, IOC most traded stocks on NSE
Equity markets were up amid positive global cues as signals of the revival of US-North Korea talks cheered investors.

In the group, they were followed by Reliance Communications (0.61 crore), PFC (0.50 crore), Bank of Baroda (0.41 crore), JP Associates (0.36 crore), HPCL (0.32 crore), Sun Pharma (0.30 crore) and State Bank of India (0.25 crore), in that order.

A fresh fall in crude oil prices and strengthening rupee also gave hope to investors.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 63 points up at 10,668, while the BSE Sensex was up 158 points at 35,083 around 09:30 am.
In the Nifty index, 41 stocks were trading with gains, while 9 were incurring losses.
Indian Oil Corporation, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
On the contrary, Tech Mahindra, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro were among the top drags on Nifty.
