Stock market update: DLF, IB Real Estate keep Nifty Realty in the green

NEW DELHI: Gains in DLF (up 2.14 per cent), HDIL (up 1.32 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.16 per cent) were keeping the realty pack in the green during Friday's trade.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.63 per cent up at 293 around 2 pm.

Shares of Unitech (up 1.12 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.78 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.71 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.51 per cent) were also up.


However, Sobha (down 3.69 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.55 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.18 per cent) were down around that time.

Market was treading higher on across the board buying, led by oil, metal, auto, utilities, telecom and IT.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 95 points at 10,609, while the BSE Sensex was up 262 points at 34,925.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.

Shares of Idea Cellular, Vedanta, PFC, SBI and Tata Motors were among most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange.
