Stock market update: Check out the stocks that jumped over 8% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sical Logistics (up 8.75 per cent), Advanced Enzyme Technologies (up 8.32 per cent) and Dynamatic Tech (up 8.08 per cent) jumped over 8 per cent on NSE in Wednesday's lacklustre market.

Muthoot Finance (up 7.89 per cent), Praxis Home Retail (up 5.62 per cent) and Cyient (up 5.09 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent higher.

Weak global cues and unstable rupee were keeping the market under pressure.


The NSE Nifty index was trading 19 points down at 11,502, while the BSE Sensex was down 36 points at 38,122 around 10:30 am.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 stocks were in the green and 33 were in the red.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, YES Bank, UPL, GAIL (India) and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers, while Coal India, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Bharti Infratel and Hindustan Unilever were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
