Stock market update: 257 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 257 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Infosys, Piramal Enterprises, Zee Entertainment and Bajaj Consumer Care.

CARE Ratings, Future Retail and Majesco also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 153.70 points up at 9,351.1, while the BSE Sensex was trading 470.48 points up at 31,860.55.

In the Nifty 50 index, YES Bank, PowerGrid, Adani Ports SEZ, Coal India and Hindustan Unilever were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Zee Entertainment, Bharti Infratel, UPL , Infosys and Bajaj Finserv were among the top losers.
