Stock market update: 122 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Hindalco Industries and LIC Housing Finance.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 83.70 points down at 11,714.2, while the BSE Sensex was trading 271.56 points down at 40,009.64.
NEW DELHI: Around 122 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Hindalco Industries, LIC Housing Finance, ABB India, Bajaj Consumer Care and Oil India.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Gillette India, Canara Bank, Excel Industries and National Aluminium Company also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 83.70 points down at 11,714.2, while the BSE Sensex was trading 271.56 points down at 40,009.64.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindustan Unilever, Dr. Reddys Laboratory, Asian Paints, PowerGrid and Britannia were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors, Hindalco, GAIL and Bharti Airtel were among the top losers.
