Stock market update: 137 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were ITC and IndusInd Bank.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 114.25 points down at 11,931.55, while the BSE Sensex was trading 356.19 points down at 40,699.50.
NEW DELHI: Around 137 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were ITC, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Gillette, Hindustan Zinc and Coal India.

Engineers India, GIC Housing Finance, Marico, Bank of Baroda, Archies, Canara Bank, CSB Bank, DB Corp and Everest Industries also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 114.25 points down at 11,931.55, while the BSE Sensex was trading 356.19 points down at 40,699.50.

In the Nifty 50 index, Zee Entertainment, GAIL, Cipla, Eicher Motors and Kotak Bank were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, YES Bank, Bharti Infratel, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank and NTPC were among the top losers.
