Stock market update: 36 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 36 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Blue Dart Express, Chennai Petroleum, Deccan Cements and Bharat Bijlee.

Apollo Pipes, Arvind Fashions, Sagar Cements, Seya and Visaka also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 48.80 points up, while the BSE Sensex was trading 156.91 points up at 40,978.21 .

On the other hand, Prestige Estate and Dr. Reddys Laborat stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today. In the Nifty 50 index, YES Bank, Tata Motors, M&M, Vedanta and UltraTech Cem. were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Larsen & Toubro, Cipla, ICICI Bank, BPCL and Bharti Airtel were among the top losers.
