Stock market update: 99 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 99 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Arvind Fashions, Bhandari Hosiery Exports, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Britannia Industries and Cipla.

Coffee Day Enterprises, Cox & Kings, GFL, IG Petrochemicals, Indian Overseas Bank, Lemon Tree Hotels, Shemaroo Entertainment, Tata Steel and Sun TV Network also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 8.70 points down at 11,100.95 while the BSE Sensex was trading 49.99 points down at 37,531.92.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors and GAIL were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, M&M, Britannia Inds. and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers.
