Stock market update: 55 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 55 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Agro Phos India, DHFL, Gayatri Projects, Indian Bank, The Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Jain Irrigation Systems, NK Industries, Reliance Capital, Reliance Power and Shriram Pistons & Rings.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 164.35 points up at 11,872.25, while the BSE Sensex was trading 569.91 points up at 40,442.22.


In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Infratel, Vedanta and JSW Steel were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, YES Bank, Britannia Inds., Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto and IndusInd Bank were among the top losers.
