Stock market update: 49 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 414.45 points down at 14420.40 on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Cadila Healthcare, Cipla, Infosys, Dr. Lal Path Labs, MindTree, Prabhat Dairy, Nureca, Supreme Petrochem, Mphasis, Coforge and Aurionpro Solutions.

Overall, 6 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 44 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Divi's Labs, Britannia and Sun Pharma were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, SBI and Adani Ports SEZ were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1385.43 points down at 48205.89. Traders were seen piling up position in Pharmaceuticals, Diversified, InvIT, FMCG and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling were visible in Electric/Electronics, Real Estate, Shipping, Media & Entertainment and Cables sectors.
