Stock market update: 39 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 39 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Apar Industries, Bhageria Industries, Bodal Chemicals, Finolex Cables, Gyscoal Alloys, Global Offshore Services, MVL, Kalyani Forge, Premier Explosives, Sagar Cements, S H Kelkar and Company, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Visesh Infotecnics and Thomas Cook.

The BSE Sensex was trading 28.71 points down at 40,750.88.


In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Dr. Reddys Lab, Asian Paints, Kotak Bank and Tata Steel were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, YES Bank, SBI, Zee Ent., ONGC and M&M were among the top losers.
