Stock market update: 37 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 48.30 points down at 11622.50 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Banka BioLoo; Bafna Pharmaceuticals; Adani Enterprises; Adani Green Energy; Ambuja Cements; Angel Broking; Asian Paints; Berger Paints; Blue Dart Express; CG Power and Industrial Solutions; Crisil Ltd; Havells India; Jet Airways; Jindal Stainless Limited.

Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 21 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, BPCL, Coal India Ltd, Indian Oil Corp and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while Hero MotoCorp, Bharti Airtel, Eicher Motors, Hind. Unilever and Bajaj Finance were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 208.97 points down at 39540.88. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Metals - Ferrous, IT - Hardware, Power and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling were visible in Trading, Agro Processing, Construction, Rubber and IT Enabled Services sectors.
