Stock market update: 27 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

The BSE Sensex was trading 3.17 points down at 39610.90.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 9.05 points down at 11633.35 on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Equitas Small Finance Bank; Adani Gas; Adani Green Energy; Bafna Pharmaceuticals; Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances; Crisil Ltd; Greenpanel Industries; Havells India; Jet Airways; PI Industries; CG Power and Industrial Solutions; Gufic Biosciences.

Overall, 23 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 27 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank and SBI were among top gainers, while RIL, HCL Tech, Britannia Inds., Divis Laboratories and BPCL were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 3.17 points down at 39610.90. Traders were seen piling up position in Real Estate, Telecommunications, Banks, Power and NBFC sectors, while selling were visible in Trading, Agro Processing, IT - Hardware, Miscellaneous and Tourism & Hospitality sectors.
