Stock market update: 231 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 231 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Thursday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Aegis Logistics, Balkrishna Paper Mills, Bhartiya International, Cummins India and Dhampur Sugar Mills.
Future Enterprises, Indiabulls Real Estate, Indian Oil Corporation, Jain Irrigation Systems, Kolte - Patil Developers, Optiemus Infracom and PC Jeweller also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 249.45 points up at 8567.3 , while the BSE Sensex was trading 945.77 points up at 29481.55.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Auto were among the top gainers on the NSE.
However, GAIL, NTPC, HCL Tech, Indian Oil Corp and UltraTech Cem. were among the top losers.
