Stock market update: 177 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 177 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were AksharChem India, Asahi India Glass, Balaji Telefilms, CG Power, Coal India, Corporation Bank and Gayatri Projects.

HSIL, ITC, Lakshmi Machine Works, Mahindra Logistics, Mastek, NMDC, Oil India, PC Jeweller, Raymond, Steel Authority of India, Tata Motors, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 7.30 points down at 11,009.70 while the BSE Sensex was trading 5.32 points up at 37,333.33.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, Tata Motors, YES Bank, Hindalco Industries, Bharti Infratel and Tata Steel were among the top losers.
