Stock market update: 155 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

The BSE Sensex was trading 587.61 points up at 52131.91.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 150.20 points up at 15313.50 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Enterprises, Affle (India), Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Finance, Deepak Nitrite, DLF, ICICI Bank, LIC Housing Finance, Motherson Sumi Systems, Piramal Enterprises, Radico Khaitan and Sundram Fasteners.

Overall, 30 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 19 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Adani Ports SEZ and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while SBI Life, HDFC Life, Dr. Reddy's Lab, TCS and Hero MotoCorp were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 587.61 points up at 52131.91. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, General, Hospitals & Allied Services, Cables and Retail sectors, while selling were visible in Infrastructure, Trading, Auto, Aquaculture and Tea / Coffee sectors.
