Stock market update: 126 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 38.60 points up at 13152.35 on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Tech Mahindra; Titan Company; Videocon Industries; APL Apollo Tubes; Bajaj Auto; Berger Paints; CG Power and Industrial Solutions; Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL); Grasim Industries; IFB Industries; Man Industries; NRB Industrial Bearings; Steel Authority of India; Sintex Industries.

Overall, 36 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 14 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Maruti Suzuki, NTPC, Asian Paints and ONGC were among top gainers, while SBI Life, UltraTech Cements, Bajaj Auto, HDFC and Infosys were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 110.12 points up at 44728.16. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Learning & Education, Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling were visible in Electric/Electronics, Miscellaneous, Agro Processing, Plastics and Tyres sectors.
