Stock market update: 118 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 34.90 points up at 15141.40 on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Enterprises, Affle (India), Bajaj Finserv, Cummins India, Deepak Nitrite, Hindalco Industries, IIFL Finance, JK Cement, Minda Industries, MRF, NBCC (India), Persistent Systems, TTK Prestige and Voltas.

Overall, 28 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 22 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco Industries, RIL, GAIL, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finance were among top gainers, while Titan Company , Eicher Motors, NTPC, Larsen & Toubro and ITC were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 113.22 points up at 51422.61. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Services, Miscellaneous, Packaging and Chemicals sectors, while selling were visible in Infrastructure, Apparels, Gems and Jewellery, Auto and Leather sectors.
