Steel Strips Wheels sales up 24 pc in April; stock gains

MUMBAI: Steel Strips Wheels has reported sale of 9.11 lakh steel wheel rims in April, 2011 as against 7.35 lakh rims in the same period a year ago, recording a growth of 24 per cent. The company has also achieved a production of 9.05 lakh wheel rims during April, 2011 as against 7.05 lakh during April, 2010 recording a growth of 28.30 per cent.

The stock was at Rs 306.40, up 0.79 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 314.45 and low of Rs 299 in trade so far.
