Spicejet, Vakrangee among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 33 shares were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 68.27 points up at 38,675.28 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Narayani Steels (up 19.96 per cent), Foods & Inns (up 18.80 per cent), Sahara Housing (up 17.23 per cent), MRO-TEK Realty (up 14.24 per cent), Manaksia Coated (up 13.66 per cent), Restile Ceramic (up 13.44 per cent), Motor Gen Finance (up 13.15 per cent), Arihant Institute (up 12.03 per cent), Premier Polyplast (up 11.78 per cent) and Mukand Engineering (up 11.76 per cent) were among the top performers.
Spicejet (up 7.65 per cent) and Vakrangee (up 6.01 per cent) too were trading 67 per cent higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 15.95 points up at 11,612.65.
