SpiceJet to start regional services from July

SpiceJet will launch its regional services from July this year, operating on 16 non-metro routes with Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, as one of its hubs.

MUMBAI: SpiceJet will launch its regional services from July this year, operating on 16 non-metro routes with Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, as one of its hubs. The airline plans to have at least three bases, one each in the east, north and South regions, for its operations to smaller cities.

However, the stock was witnessing selling pressure after oil marketing companies raised jet fuel prices by 4.5 per cent.

The stock was at Rs 53.90, down 11.49 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 61.25 and low of Rs 53.65 in trade so far.
