Despite a weak broader market, select smallcap stocks bucked the trend and delivered strong gains this week. The rally came even as Middle East tensions escalated, pushing crude oil prices above $110 per barrel and fuelling inflation worries. Hawkish signals from the US Federal Reserve further dampened overall sentiment. Yet, pockets of the market saw sharp upside, with top performers surging as much as 41% in just five sessions. The stock surged 29.63% over the week. It is a leading Indian chemical manufacturing company specialising in specialty chemicals and intermediates, particularly chlorophenol derivatives.

The stock gained 25.62% during the week. It is a leading Indian manufacturer and exporter of dyestuffs, dye intermediates and basic chemicals, primarily serving the textile, paper and leather industries.

The stock rose 25.01% over the week. It is a leading Indian chemical manufacturer, primarily producing caustic soda, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide and various chlor-methanes. Established in 1973, it is one of India’s largest producers of caustic soda, serving industries such as textiles, soaps, paper, water treatment and pharmaceuticals.

The stock advanced 24.68% during the week. It is a prominent Indian manufacturer and retailer specialising in surfacing solutions, primarily tiles, marble and mosaic. It serves residential, commercial and infrastructure projects with a wide range of designs.

The stock climbed 24.51% over the past five sessions. It is a prominent Indian manufacturer of electric buses (e-buses) and electric tippers. The company supplies mass transport electric buses to state transport undertakings and manufactures composite polymer insulators for the power transmission industry.

The stock moved up 23.37% during the week. The company is a leading Indian provider of oil and gas support services, specialising in natural gas compression, dehydration, and drilling/workover rig services.

The stock gained 23.31% over the week. It is a leading Indian manufacturer specialising in high-precision injection-moulded plastic components, moulds and assemblies for OEMs. It serves industries such as healthcare, personal care and consumer products.

The stock rose 22.69% during the week. It is an Indian fintech company specialising in digital banking and payment solutions. It acts as a technology service provider (TSP) for banks, offering UPI payments, IMPS, digital wallets and "Bank-in-a-Box" solutions.

The stock was the least among the top gainers, rising 20.64% over the week. It is an integrated Indian company primarily engaged in manufacturing sugar, producing ethanol (industrial alcohol), and generating eco-friendly power.
