Bulk deals: Smallcap World Fund pares stake in Prataap Snacks

Here’s who bought what in some of the key bulk deals of the day.

Nearly Rs 3 lakh crore were added to the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies.
Mumbai: Smallcap companies dominated the bulk deals again in Friday’s trade.

For the day, the 30-share Sensex closed 3.22 per cent or 968.11 points higher at 31,588.72, while the 50-share Nifty advanced 3.05 per cent or 273.95 points to close at 9,266.75.

Nearly Rs 3 lakh crore were added to the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies.


Here’s who bought what in some of the key bulk deals of the day:

>>Smallcap World Fund pared its stake and sold 2,43,857 shares in Prataap snacks at Rs 458.08 a share. The fund held 1.30 per cent stake in the company at the end of March quarter. Prataap Snacks closed 2.70 per cent higher at Rs 468.70 a share on the NSE

>>Nopea Capital Services bought 25,600 shares in Jakharia Fabric at Rs 185 a share. The shares closed flat at Rs 185 a share on the NSE.

>>Axis Trustee Services sold another 150,53,000 shares of Reliance Home Finance at Rs 0.75 a share. Alpha Leon Enterprises bought a net of 89,54,135 shares in the company at the same price. Reliance Home Finance shares closed flat at Rs 0.75 per share.
