Simplex Castings surges on Rs 14 cr order

MUMBAI: Simplex Castings has been awarded Rs 14 crore order from Ministry of Railway, for supply of chasis for electrical locomotive, WDG-4.
At 11:56 am, the share was up 9.03 per cent at Rs 80.30 on the BSE. It has touched a high of Rs 82 and low of Rs 74 in trade so far. Volumes also improved at 19,616 shares against two-week average of 3900 shares.
The company also has orders worth more than Rs 120 crore which includes export orders worth Rs 30 crore from clients like Indu steel - France, Arcellor - Spain, Ingersoll Rand - Italy, Sandwik Asia - Pune, Al - Nasar Company for coke & chemicals - Egypt, Hyundai Corporation - Korea.
With rising demand and its order book position, Simplex Castings expects to post better results as compared with previous year.
