Shrenuj up 6% on retail jewellery foray

MUMBAI: Shares of Shrenuj & Company were up 6.14 per cent, after the company announced plans to retail jewellery in India.

The company has launched retail operations under the ���Diti��� brand, based on a shop-in-shop model. The jewellery is attractively priced at an average ticket size of Rs 15,000 per piece.

Shrenuj plans to increase the number of shop-in-shop outlets from the present 12 to 170 over next three years. Revenue mix of diamonds and jewellery would be 60:40 by end of 2009-10.

At 12.25 pm, shares of Shrenuj were trading at Rs 32. The stock has seen a high of Rs 32.80 and low of Rs 30 in trade so far, on volume of 20,355 shares.
