Share price of REC Ltd. rises as Nifty strengthens

The stock hit a high price of Rs 108.9 and low of Rs 106.8 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 14.04 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:47PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.08 crore around that time.


The stock of REC Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 157.25 and Rs 79.0, respectively.

Promoters held 52.63 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2020, while foreign investors held 26.59 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 9.3 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7757.78 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 2.97 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 7533.8 crore and up 18.38 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 6553.37 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 473.99 crore, down 62.16 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
