Share price of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. gained 2.09 per cent to Rs 434.25 in Friday's trade as of 10:26AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 436.0 and low of Rs 426.5 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 14.79 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:26AM shares and turnover at Rs 2.4 crore around that time.


The stock of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 537.5 and Rs 221.95, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.14.

Promoters held 52.87 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2020, while foreign investors held 13.34 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 4.72 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 860.72 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 137.41 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 362.55 crore and up 106.62 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 416.57 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 178.73 crore, down 31.53 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
