Share market update: Mindteck, Gayatri Highways among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity index BSE Sensex was trading 51.63 points down at 41,629.91 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Shiva Texyarn (up 5.15 per cent), Prakash Industries (up 5.35 per cent), Unitech (up 5.56 per cent), Manaksia Aluminium Company (up 5.56 per cent) and Mindteck India (up 5.69 per cent) were among the top performers.

Cambridge Tech (up 6.01 per cent), Motor Gen Fin (up 6.74 per cent), Delta Magnets (up 7.66 per cent), MIC Electronics (up 8.33 per cent) and Gayatri Highways (up 9.09 per cent) too were trading 6-9 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 7.55 points down at 12,264.25. Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 30 shares were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.
