Share market update: Zim Lab, Jeevan Scientific among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 8 shares were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 391.22 points down at 39,122.17 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Asian Hotels (E) (up 17.68 per cent), Zim Laboratories (up 16.37 per cent), Niraj Cement (up 13.65 per cent), Kerala Ayurveda (up 13.59 per cent), Jeevan Scientific Technology (up 11.97 per cent), Simplex Casting (up 11.83 per cent), Bhilwara Tech (up 10.85 per cent), Kinetic Enineerging (up 10.77 per cent), Lahoti Overseas (up 10.30 per cent) and Advance Syntex (up 10.19 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 117.10 points down at 11,694.05.
