Share market update: Vodafone Idea, Wockhardt among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 92.46 points up at 40,449.15 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Seasons Textiles (up 19.79 per cent), Stampede Capital (up 19.75 per cent) , TCI Finance (up 18.59 per cent) , Mohit Industries (up 17.39 per cent), Manaksia Coated (up 17.34 per cent), Permanent Magnet (up 16.62 per cent) , Prakash Woollen & S (up 15.37 per cent) , Modex International (up 14.83 per cent) and Rana Sugars (up 14.29 per cent), Vodafone Idea (up 11.14 per cent) and Wockhardt (up 8.86 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 26.75 points up at 11,922.20 .


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 37 shares were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
