Share market update: Vodafone Idea, UCO Bank among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 156.74 points up at 40,626.44 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Porwal Auto Comp (up 17.65 per cent) , Dynamic Ind (up 16.18 per cent) , Oswal Agro Mill (up 15.89 per cent) , Andhra Petro (up 14.37 per cent) , Akar Auto Industries (up 12.35 per cent) , Geojit Financial (up 11.88 per cent) , Kallam Textiles (up 11.39 per cent) , Vodafone Idea (up 10.80 per cent) , Prime Focus (up 9.99 per cent), Ausom Enterprise (up 9.90 per cent) and UCO Bank (up 5.78 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 41.85 points up at 11,981.95.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 22 shares were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
