Share market update: Vodafone Idea, Tata Elxsi among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 209.13 points down at 40,846.56 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Vodafone Idea (down 11.40 per cent), Cybermate Info (down 11.11 per cent), Shemaroo Entertainment (down 9.98 per cent), Nitesh Estates (down 9.09 per cent), Hisar Metal Ind (down 9.02 per cent), Vaswani Ind (down 8.57 per cent), Oceanic Foods Ltd. (down 7.69 per cent), JP Associates (down 7.45 per cent), Mukesh Babu Fin (down 7.01 per cent), Gallantt Metal (down 6.90 per cent) and Tata Elxsi (down 5 per cent) were among the top losers.

The Nifty index was trading 69.45 points down at 11,976.35.
