Share market update: Vodafone Idea, SE Power among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 177.82 points down at 41351.09 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Lotus Eye Hospitals (up 19.84 per cent) , Cenlub Industries (up 14.22 per cent) , Monarch Networth (up 12.08 per cent), Vodafone Idea (up 10.91 per cent) , Sagar (up 10.89 per cent) , SE Power (up 10.48 per cent) , Cybermate Info (up 8.92 per cent) , Manaksia Aluminium Company Ltd. (up 7.31 per cent) , Ashok Alco-Chem (up 6.34 per cent) and Akar Auto Industries (up 6.33 per cent) were among the best performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 49 points down at 12,175.55.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 15 shares were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red.
