Share market update: Vodafone Idea, MMTC among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 29.17 points down at 40,415.98 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of U H Zaveri (down 20 per cent) , Modex International (down 19.79 per cent) , City Pulse Multiplex Ltd. (down 19.75 per cent) , Austin Engg (down 13.23 per cent) , Advance Metering (down 12.24 per cent) , Dhunseri Investment (down 12.09 per cent) , Kilburn Engg (down 11.49 per cent) , Refnol Resins (down 10.62 per cent) , R Systems International (down 9.95 per cent), Vaswani Ind (down 9.90 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 5.92 per cent) and MMTC (down 5.51 per cent) were among the worst performers.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 9.20 points down at 11,912.30.
