Share market update: Ujaas Energy, PC Jeweller among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 137.45 points up at 40,550.02 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Asian Hotels (E) (up 19.20 per cent) , Mindteck India (up 15.30 per cent) , Comfort Intech (up 12.40 per cent) , TGB Banquets (up 9.76 per cent) , Ujaas Energy (up 8.87 per cent) , PC Jeweller (up 7.23 per cent) JHS Svendgaard (up 7.85 per cent) , Bal Pharma (up 6.54 per cent) , Timex Group (up 6.39 per cent) , GVK Power Infra (up 6.06 per cent) and Axiscades Engineering (up 5.75 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 36.90 points up at 11,947.05.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 44 shares were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.
