Share market update: Tyre stocks mixed; Krypton Industries jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Tyre stocks were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Krypton Industries (up 5.00 per cent), Govind Rubber (up 1.88 per cent), Oriental Carbon & Chem (up 0.76 per cent) and MRF (up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Goa Carbon (down 1.44 per cent), J K Tyre & Industries (down 1.18 per cent), TVS Srichakra (down 0.91 per cent), Phillips Carbon (down 0.17 per cent), Apollo Tyres (down 0.15 per cent), Goodyear India (down 0.15 per cent), CEAT (down 0.11 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries (down 0.10 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 49.30 points down at 12206.55, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 173.16 points at 41384.84 at around 02:42 pm.
