Share market update: Tyre stocks advance; JK Tyre climbs 2%

The 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 63.28 points at 41511.86.

Phillips Carbon (up 3.84 per cent), Govind Rubber (up 1.91 per cent), TVS Srichakra (up 1.76 per cent) and J K Tyre & Industries (up 1.67 per cent) were the top gainers among tyre stocks.

NEW DELHI: Tyre stocks were trading on positive note in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Phillips Carbon (up 3.84 per cent), Govind Rubber (up 1.91 per cent), TVS Srichakra (up 1.76 per cent), JK Tyre & Industries (up 1.67 per cent), Balkrishna Industries (up 0.89 per cent), Apollo Tyres (up 0.86 per cent), Goodyear India (up 0.86 per cent), CEAT (up 0.81 per cent) and MRF (up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Krypton Industries (down 4.08 per cent), Modi Rubber (down 2.34 per cent), Oriental Carbon & Chem (down 1.50 per cent) and Goa Carbon (down 0.35 per cent) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 8.95 points down at 12236.85, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 63.28 points at 41511.86 at around 02:45 pm.
