Share market update: Suzlon Energy, Navkar Corporation among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 236.49 points up at 37,563.85 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Sahara Housing (up 19.06 per cent), Wall Street Finance (up 18.92 per cent), Simmonds Marsh (up 18.71 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals (up 16.17 per cent) , Aries Agro (up 16.16 per cent) , Disa India (up 15.46 per cent), HB Portfolio (up 15.15 per cent), High Energy Batteries (up 14.23 per cent), Indowind Energy (up 13.84 per cent) and Simran Farms (up 13.79 per cent), Suzlon Energy (up 12.09 per cent) and Navkar Corporation (11.95 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 75.45 points up at 11,107.90.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 40 shares were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.
