Share market update: Suzlon Energy, MFSL among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 18 shares were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 91.23 points down at 41,231.77 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Virat Industries (up 19.92 per cent), Umang Dairies (up 19.87 per cent), Amba Enterprises Ltd. (up 19.65 per cent), SNL Bearings (up 18.66 per cent), Jindal Photo (up 15.55 per cent), Prithvi Exchange (up 14.81 per cent), Porwal Auto Comp (up 12.81 per cent), Intense Tech (up 12.18 per cent), Thomas Cook (up 11.44 per cent), Mukand Ltd (up 10.06 per cent), Suzlon Energy (up 9.69 per cent) and Max Financial Services (up 7.59 per cent) were among the best performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 28.80 points down at 12,097.10.
