Share market update: Sugar stocks mixed; Gayatri Sugars climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading on a mixed note in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Dhampure Specialty Sugars (up 4.94 per cent), Gayatri Sugars (up 4.94 per cent), SBEC Sugar (up 4.90 per cent), Shree Renuka Sugars (up 3.87 per cent) and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries (up 3.50 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Rana Sugars (down 4.91 per cent), Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises (down 4.89 per cent), Parvati (down 3.64 per cent), EID Parry (down 2.81 per cent) and Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals (down 2.37 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 41.10 points up at 11219.5, while the 30 share BSE Sensex was up 70.90 points at 37948.24 at around 02:36PM.
