Share market update: Strides Pharma, Lancor Holdings among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 35 shares were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 158.99 points up at 37,845.36 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of SEL Manufacturing (up 19.72 per cent) , Transchem (up 19.64 per cent) , Lancor Holdings (up 18.10 per cent) , Porwal Auto Comp (up 17.07 per cent) , Shalby (up 16.31 per cent) , Jeevan Scientific Technology (up 15.37 per cent), Kkalpana lndustries (up 14.64 per cent), Hindustan Media (up 14.63 per cent), Hisar Metal Ind (up 13.07 per cent), SPEL Semicondustors (up 12.25 per cent) and Strides Pharma (up 8.66 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 48.80 points up at 11,238.
