Share market update: STFC, GCM Capital among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 38 shares were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 184.99 points up at 38,032.64 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of GCM Capital (up 20 per cent), Rishi Laser (up 19.95 per cent), Celebrity Fashions (up 19.78 per cent) , Baschem Pharma (up 19.20 per cent), Marathon Nextgen (up 18.94 per cent), Caprihans India (up 18.35 per cent), Jeevan Scientific Technology (up 17.73 per cent), Cimmco (up 15.79 per cent), Dhoot Industries (up 15.50 per cent), Venus Remedies (up 15.22 per cent) and Shriram Transport Finance (up 8.05 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 54.30 points up at 11,325.60.
