Share market update: Sterlite Tech, Vodafone Idea among top losers on BSE
In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks were trading in the green, while 28 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 80.64 points up at 39,101.03 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Alankit (down 17.55 per cent), Somi Conveyor (down 15.74 per cent), Sterlite Tech (down 12.77 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 12.70 per cent), Titan Securities (down 11.67 per cent), Walchand People (down 9.88 per cent), Shalibhadra Fin (down 9.64 per cent), Hilton Metal (down 8.33 per cent), Prism Finance (down 7.34 per cent) and Sreeleather (down 7.15 per cent) were among the worst performers.

The Nifty index was trading 14.65 points up at 11,597.25.
