Share market update: SREI Infra, Shankara Building among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 80.44 points up at 37,225.89 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Niraj Cement (up 19.98 per cent), Kothari Products (up 18.91 per cent), Malu Paper Mill (up 15.21 per cent), Upasana Finance (up 14.34 per cent), Pudumjee Paper Products (up 13.86 per cent), Shah Alloys (up 13.73 per cent), Star Paper Mil (up 12.97 per cent), Indo Us Bio-Tech (up 12.01 per cent), Moschip Semiconductor (up 9.99 per cent), Ludlow Jute (up 9.97 per cent), Shankara Building (up 7.22 per cent) and SREI Infrastructure (up 6.10 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 18.60 points up at 11,021.65.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
