Share market update: SREI Infra, Birla Cable among top losers on BSE
In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 199.14 points up at 40,668.92 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Gokul Solutions (down 13.29 per cent) , Southern Online (down 8.82 per cent) , King Infra Ventures (down 8.76 per cent) , AMD Industries (down 8.75 per cent) , Punjab Alkalies (down 8.14 per cent) , Birla Cable (down 7.07 per cent) , ABC India Ltd (down 7.04 per cent) , The HiTech Gears (down 6.93 per cent) , Alufluoride Ltd (down 5.18 per cent), Seya Industries (down 5.17 per cent) and SREI Infrastructure (down 5 per cent) were among the worst performers.

The Nifty index was trading 50.15 points up at 12,016.20.
