Share market update: Shipping Corporation, HAL among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 10 shares were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 169.31 points down at 36,812.46 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Donear Industries (up 19.97 per cent), Moschip Semiconductor (up 19.83 per cent), Velan Hotels (up 19.48 per cent), United Drilling (up 18.27 per cent), Danlaw Technologies (up 17.25 per cent), Sundaram Multipap (up 16.43 per cent) , Asian Hotels (E) (up 14.92 per cent) , Swasti Vinayaka (up 14.17 per cent) , Sambhaav Media (up 13.95 per cent), Bhilwara Tech (up 13.29 per cent), Shipping Corporation of India (up 6.90 per cent) and Hindustan Aeronautics (up 5 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 51.20 points down at 10,895.
